An American Turning Point

This traveling exhibition and companion mobile website was designed and produced to supplement the temporary exhibition An American Turning Point: The Civil War in Virginia. Developed in conjunction with the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission, the exhibition promotes an understanding of the wartime experiences of Virginians, and those who served in Virginia, during the war.

Curved, fabric structures were paired with simple, pull-up section text panels. The lightweight, modular panels are easily set-up and configurations can be varied depending on the space available at each venue.

The mobile website, accessed via q.r. codes at each of the exhibit section panels, hosts more in-depth content than would otherwise be feasible in a traveling exhibition.
